PROPRIETES MAGNETIQUES ET "STRUCTURE" DES VERRES DANS QUELQUES SYSTEMES TERNAIRES

L'examen et l'interprétation des propriétés magnétiques de verres d'hypertrempe dans deux systèmes xFe2O3 (1-x) [BaO, B2O3] et xFe2O3 (1-x) [Li2O,B2O3] conduisent suivant la teneur en Fe2O3 à des modèles de coordination tétraédrique ou octaédrique déformés. Dans ces verres les atomes Fe3+ sont suivant les concentrations croissantes en Fe2O3 successivement -isolés, -sous forme de dimères ou trimères, -dans des clusters en interactions, -enfin dans des microcristaux.Magnetic properties of splat cooled glasses have been performed in ternary systems xFe2O3 (1-x) [BaO, B2O3] and xFe2O3 (1-x) [Li2O, B2O3]. In respect of Fe2O3 content the interpretation of experimental data leads to structural models with deformed tetrahedral and octahedral coordination for iron site. In these glasses, versus increasing Fe2O3 concentration, iron atoms are successively isolated, in dimeric or trimeric entities, in clusters in interactions and last in small crystallites
